By Mike | August 6, 2011
The 2011 Fiesta Children’s Parade took place under cloudy skies on Santa Barbara’s State Street. Hundreds of kids and their friends and parents walked the parade route from Victoria Street to Ortega Street and were rewarded with Ice Cream provided by MarBorg Industries.
Pictured at left is the Junior Spirit of Fiesta – Anais Crespo Pena. She comes from a history of flamenco dancers, following in her mother’s footsteps… she was the Junior Spirit of Fiesta in 1971.

San Marcos vs Dos Pueblos Basketball
By Mike | February 10, 2011
The Dos Pueblos Chargers ventured over to San Marcos High School for Senior Night and the last home game of the season. All three games, Frosh, JV and Varsity, were well played by both sides with only a couple of points separating the teams through most of the game.
Dos Pueblos came out ahead in the Frosh and JV Games, while the Royals took the Varsity game in a packed gym.
Photos from the JV and Varsity games are posted on SantaBarbaraPix.com as well as MaxPreps.com. I’d also like to thank Madi (pictured) for helping shoot both games. She did a fantastic job and deserves a pat on the back.
