Santa Barbara Defeats San Marcos in Girls Soccer

The Santa Barbara Lady Don’s Soccer team hosted San Marcos High this afternoon for a make-up game due to last week’s rains. Both teams played an exceptional game, but Santa Barbara came out on top, scoring the only goal in the first half. San Marcos threatened a couple of times in the second half but were unable to get the ball past the Santa Barbara goalie.

SBCC Softball Opens the Season with a Double Header Win

The Lady Vaqueros took on Foothill at Pershing Park today in a Softball Double Header. SBCC came out strong, with only 3 returning players from last season, to take an early 6-0 lead. Foothill tied the game in the 4th inning before SBCC came back to score 8 unanswered runs, ending the game with an 8-run mercy rule.
SBCC also won the second game of the double header under the mercy rule in 5 innings with a score of 10-1. The next home game will be on February 11th @ 2:30 against L.A. Mission.

Dos Pueblos Girls Basketball Dominate San Marcos

An exciting night of girls basketball at Dos Pueblos High School tonight. The Frosh, JV & Varsity Chargers played strong B-Ball to defeat visiting San Marcos High in all 3 games. The Santa Barbara High Lady Don’s travelled to Dos Pueblos today for a Channel League match-up in Girl’s Basketball. Santa Barbara Water Polo vs San Marcos Water Polo
